Copings Case Study

Earlier this year we where contacted by Watkin Jones who needed 525 x 525 x 75/50mm Saddle back copings. As they are not a standard size coping that we stock we made custom  moulds to suit what the customer needed. We provided 37 copings along with a corner piece and had them delivered to Scotland.

Pier cap Case Study

In early September this year, A Customer came to us with an unusually large pillar that he  required a pier cap to sit on. His brick pillar was 775sq, but wanted a stepped cap to match the four 21” stepped he had bought from us to put on his other two brick pillars. We then made a custom stepped pier cap mould to suit at 875sq, this allowed enough room on all four sides of the pillar cap to allow for a drip edge as this protects the brick work underneath.

Padstone Case Study

Here at our specialist site in Liverpool we can make any sized Padstone that is required. For example a Structural engineer came to us as he needed specific sized Padstones making. He specified that one of the Padstones need to be at 550 x 300 x 300mm, and one at 450 x 450 x 300mm. Although they are not on our standard list of Padstone sizes, it was no problem for us to meet the engineers needs.
